THE LAND
Considered one of the most valuable ecosystems in the world and declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2009, Fuerteventura has Natural Parks, natural monuments, ancient caves, extensive plains and singular biodiversity.
Fuerteventura is considered as the mother of the eight Canary Islands, given it is the oldest of them all.
Formed by twenty million years of its volcanic eruptions, , Fuerteventura has so many powerfully contrasts developed in a unique nature.

It means above all the passion for gravel grinding and good socializing.
La Cabrita Gravel 2024 is for ALL CYCLISTS who share a love for the outdoors adventures created in a unique landscape that's a reminiscent of Sahara desert.

Days are usually hot with balmy evenings.
The average daily maximum is 22-24 C and the average daily minimum is 17-19 C.

There is a 56% chance of a perfect sunny day and a 44% chance of seeing some clouds, with on average Imm of rainfall this month.
Best time to be on the beach
It's a great time of year to swim in the sea, with the water at an average temperature of 22 C.

Wind Fuerteventura is a windy island but the trade winds aren't as constant at this time of year and November is one of the least windy months of the year on the island. The average wind speed is 18-20 kmph and mainly North-North East.
Gravel bike 40-45 mm tires & tubeless recommended.
Good system night lights, reflective cycling jackets and emergency blankets are mandatory.
A good Tool Kit is strictly recommended.
The climate is good but the temperature range during the night can be significant and the wind particularly cool, so gloves and windproof jackets are recommended, as well as a sleeping bag for the night.
You can easily find food and water in bars and shops only during the day (normally closing time is 8 pm).
During weekend they might close before.
Remember that there are no fountains on the route.

During the event you must have a travel and health insurance that covers RC, accident, emergency rescue, death and repatriation.
Remember that you must be over 18 years old at the time of departure.
